Jim Hill Boy’s Track and Field finishes 6th in the 5A State Track Meet

Jim Hill Boy’s finished the track and field season at the State meet with best showing of the 7 JPS high schools finishing 6 th overall.


4x2004x200-2nd place-Kevonta Jefferson, Jessie Williams, Darius Littleton, Avaunte Griffin. These guys have the fastest overall time in the 4x200 in the 5A Division and ranks 8th overall in the state.  

 

JessieJessie Williams-3rd in the long jump (school record with a jump of 21’-3”) Jessie ranks 4th overall in the 5A Division and ranks 27th overall in the state.

 

KevontaKevonta Jefferson-3rd in the 100, 2nd in the 200 (finishes the season with school records in the 100m and 200m). Kevonta ranks 10th overall in the state in the 200m and 16th overall in the state in the 100m. 

 

 

 

 

Although they did not win first place in the meet the 4x2 has the fastest time in the 5A and set
a school record with a time of 1:30.07.

The team is coached by Korian Padgett, Terence Swanson, and Tamika Harris.
