Northwest Receives Exxon Award

The Exxon Mobil Corporation has a long history of supporting educational programs, and recently, Northwest Jackson IB World Middle school was awarded a $500 donation through Exxon's Educational Alliance Program. This award was presented to Northwest by Morris Petroleum, Inc. in Ridgeland, MS. Exxon states, "We believe it is fundamentally important to encourage the next generation to pursue studies and careers in fields involving math and science." The Northwest family would like to express our sincere wolverine appreciation to Exxon Mobil and Morris Petroleum for their support of education at our school.
