Superintendent, Dr. Errick Greene, encouraged employees to celebrate the "bright spots," but also bear in mind, that JPS must stay committed to growth.

"We've got some work to do, and I like to think of it in this way - last year was a set-up for the come-up that we'll experience this year," said Dr. Greene. "I'm still expecting us to reach the very highest performance level there is. That's still my vision for this District, and I'm convinced we'll do it. Luckily, we've got a plan for how we'll do it, and it's all in the power of people and possibilities."
