Important Update: Afterschool Programming for the 2024-2025 School Year

 

Jackson Public Schools is restructuring its afterschool programs for the 2024-2025 school year. As a result, the available program offerings will differ from previous years. 

 

During this reorganization, we encourage each family to contact their child’s school to learn about any services that may be available.

 

We understand how essential afterschool programs are in supporting families by providing academic enrichment, social-emotional development, safety, and a sense of community. These programs play a crucial role in fostering students’ overall growth and preparing them for future success both in and out of the classroom.

 

While this transition is underway, we want to ensure families have access to resources for afterschool care and enrichment.

 

To assist you, we have compiled a list of local afterschool services within the community. These programs offer a variety of educational, recreational, and social activities for students outside the traditional school setting.
