JPS Monitoring Weather Due to Winter Storm Watch

The Jackson Public School District is closely monitoring weather conditions. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the metro area. Rain Monday night is predicted to turn into snow early Tuesday morning. Up to two inches of snow is possible in central Mississippi.

At this time, there is no anticipated change to our regular school schedule. JPS will continue to follow the latest reports on the weather and inform you of any changes. We will post these updates on the following District sites:
