Several JPS student-athletes have been named to the 2018-2019 Clarion Ledger Basketball Dandy Dozen. Their selections were based on their high school athletic performances and discussions with coaches and other specialists in Mississippi high school basketball. There were five JPS boys players selected for the statewide honor with two of them being proud Patriots—Marc Evans and Keondre Montgomery of Forest Hill.
