Clarion Ledger Names Dupree & Ruffin to 2020 Basketball Dandy Dozen

Congratulations to seniors Daeshun Ruffin of Callaway and Joseph Dupree of Murrah on being named to the 2020 Clarion-Ledger Basketball Dandy Dozen.
A three-time Dandy Dozen select, Ruffin is a nationally-recognized guard. He also made the 2020 Clarion-Ledger All-State boys basketball first team, averaging 26 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.9 steals in his junior season with Callaway. Ruffin was named MVP in last spring's 5A state championship game in addition to being named the Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year. He has committed to play at the University of Mississippi next year.
As a junior, Dupree was named to the 2020 Clarion-Ledger All-State boys basketball fourth team, and he led the Mustangs to the 6A state championship in the spring of 2020. He averaged 17 points and 4 rebounds last season for Murrah. Dupree has committed to play at Jackson State University next year.
