JPS Releases the District Calendar for the 2025-2026 School Year

Jackson Public Schools has released the 2025-2026 District Calendar. The District will be joining a number of Mississippi school districts choosing to adopt a modified calendar that starts a little earlier, allowing for more breaks for scholars during the school year. The new schedule also affords the District an opportunity to offer teacher professional development days. Notably, students will report at the end of July instead of August, but they will enjoy a week-long Fall Break in October, just like they are used to for Spring Break in March.
