SPANN Celebrates Black History Month with Living Wax Museum
Friday, March 1, 2024
Students at Spann Elementary School celebrated Black History Month on March 1 by putting on a living wax museum.
As part of the project, students researched and dressed up as notable African-American figures, such as Michael Jordan, Barack Obama, Mae Jemison and Michael Jackson.
Mrs. Torrey said the goal of the living wax museum was to honor the contributions of African Americans and bring their stories to life.
