Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google Doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win scholarships and tech packages for their schools.
Doodles are meant to surprise and delight people when they visit Google.com. Past Doodles have celebrated some of the most brilliant, talented, and passionate people throughout history. The Doodle for Google contest offers K-12 students an opportunity to display their own Doodle creativity on Google.com and win some awesome prizes while doing it!
54 state and territory winners, such as TJ, will have their doodles featured on the Doodle for Google gallery and will receive Google hardware, a congratulatory message from Google, and fun Google swag. To help their favorites succeed, everyone across the USA can vote for their favorite Doodle from the 54 State and Territory Winners. Due to the tragic event in Uvalde, Texas, Google has postponed voting at this time. Google will be in contact with schools and parents once voting resumes.
The judges for this year’s Doodle for Google contest are the 2021 National Teacher of the Year Juliana Urtubey; director, model, and mental health activist Elyse Fox; and artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Selena Gomez.
