Why is October one of our favorite months of the school year? October is National Principals Month and gives us an opportunity to celebrate the unsung heroes of our schools. Throughout the month, we celebrate our principals for the vital roles they play in inspiring excellence in our schools among teachers, staff, scholars, parent partners, and the community.
We humbly solicit your participation in this significant opportunity to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of school principals. The American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA), the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), proudly facilitate this annual program through hosting online resources that help individuals and groups to celebrate, recognize, and advocate for school principals.
