The Jackson Public Schools Special Programs application window officially opens today, November 7, and will remain open through December 14. Those who are interested may register by clicking the link here: SPECIAL PROGRAMS APPLICATION
Parents who are interested in learning more about our program offerings should join us at our first annual Special Programs Fair. The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Kirksey Middle School located at 5677 Highland Drive in Jackson. Please join us as we hear from each Special Program school, give door prizes, and share music provided by D.J. Java. Parents and community supporters are encouraged to visit each booth to learn more about the variety of programs offered to meet the needs and diverse interests of our amazing JPS scholars.

Helm Baptist Church will help the Jackson Public School District widen its reach to deepen innovative teaching and learning opportunities," said Dr. Chinelo Evans, executive director of advanced academics. "While innovation occurs at all JPS schools, our Special Programs provide unique learning environments which cater to the needs of the students participating. From video game design classes to theater and internationalism, our programs help scholars explore their interests and help cultivate a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom."
