Casey Young Artists

Three young Casey artists have been honored by having their artwork selected for display in the hallways of the Mississippi Department of Education. In December of 2018, six Casey students were honored to have their work displayed in the Magnificent Masterpieces showcase sponsored by the Whole Schools Institute of the Mississippi Arts Commission. This first public display featured artworks by students from Whole Schools all over the state at the Mississippi Arts Center. From the six Casey pieces, three of them have been selected for a new display in the halls of the MDE (Mississippi Department of Education), located at 359 N. West St. in Jackson. The three honored students are kindergartner Isabella  (for her "Self Portrait"), fourth grader Makayla  (for "D for Dragon"), and fifth grader Damion  (for "Saguaro Cactus Diagram").
