September 20, 2024 - The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) released accountability grades for the 2023-24 school year, and Northwest Middle School maintained its A rating. Congratulations to our staff and Wolverines for all their hard work!

Northwest Teacher Featured in WJT's "Cool Schools"
January 2020 - 7th grade Math teacher and girls’ basketball coach, Ms. Ashli Sutton, was featured in WJTV’s “Cool Schools” segment on January 23, 2020. During her first year of teaching, Ms. Sutton’s students ranked number one in the district on state assessments, and seventh in the state. This year the girls’ basketball team have had an undefeated season. Way to go Ms. Sutton!
