May 15, 2024 - You can now register for the 2024-2025 school year, and we have a new tool that will make registration quick and easy. The PowerSchool Enrollment Portal allows all new and returning students to enroll any time of day or night.

Jim Hill HS Athletic Swimmer First in District to Receive Swimming Scholarship
May 2, 2024 - Jim Hill High School senior Arian Taylor is the first athletic swimmer within Jackson Public Schools to receive a swimming scholarship. The award is from Meridian Community College (MCC), where Taylor plans to major in Nursing.

Over 300 JPS Elementary Scholars Dined, Danced in Formal Attire at Inaugural Etiquette Celebration
April 30, 2024 - Young boys and girls in formal wear, complete with neckties and pearl necklaces, enjoyed the waltz after a 5-course meal inside Jackson’s Ice House Venue on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The inaugural Simply Charming Etiquette Dinner celebrated gifted 2nd - 5th graders who mastered a 9-week etiquette and social skills training.
