February 21, 2020 – More than 1,000 JPS fourth-graders took part in interactive STEM exhibits presented by students and faculty from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
February 20, 2020 – Awards were presented as part of a National Counseling Week Celebration themed "Helping Build Better Humans." The program highlighted the impact of our professional school counselors.
February 18, 2020 – High Schools Assistant Superintendent Laketia Marshall Thomas and Superintendent Dr. Errick L. Greene participated in the awards dinner held to celebrate the Cadets of the Year.
February 14, 2020 – Shamar Stamps, Shamya Robinson, and Kameron Lewis are students of the Simulation and Animation Design Technology Program and members of the Technology Student Association.
Tuesday, February 25 will be a Professional Development Day for teachers. Students will be dismissed on the 80% Day schedule as follows:
- Elementary, 1:55 p.m.
- Middle, 2:20 p.m.
- High, 3 p.m.
7 a.m. Dropoff car riders and bus riders.
7:30 a.m. Cutoff for car riders to get breakfast.
7:45 Tardy bell sounds.
2:15 p.m. School dismissed.
