Pecan Park Staff along with 5th grade mentees of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Central Mississippi Chapter were invited to their 33rd Annual Holiday Top Hat Brunch!

Holiday Magic at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport
Pecan Park Elementary School Choir was featured at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport. Their beautiful voices brought so much joy to travelers. Southwest Airlines gifted the choir with mini Southwest Airplanes.

Library Challenge Winner
At the beginning of school, the students were given a task to write why they feel their dragons should stay at home. The student who did the best work would have their artwork put on a canvas and hung in the library. This student won. This is Ashton Martin, 4th Grade.

Pecan Park receives a New Adopter for the 2024-2025 School Year
As renovations continue at the school site, Koinonia Baptist Church has committed to adopting Pecan Park beginning for the 2024-25 school year.
