Jackson Public Schools is providing this Notice of Intent to Apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant. If awarded, the grant will support enrichment programs at the following schools: Casey Elementary, Shirley Elementary, Kirksey Middle, and Murrah High School.

The purpose of the CCLC program is to offer academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours, including before and after school as well as during summer recess. These programs are designed to help students meet state and local academic standards in core subjects, while also offering a broad array of enrichment activities.

Jackson Public Schools, as the Local Education Agency (LEA), is responsible for submitting the application, which is due by June 30, 2025.
