The city of Jackson will hold general elections on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, to decide on a new mayor and members of the city council to represent its residents for the next four years. We urge all eligible voters, including our scholars who are registered, to exercise this privilege in the upcoming election. The information below is intended to provide resources to help you prepare so that you can do so with confidence.

Mississippi Voter ID

Remember to have a photo ID, as all Mississippi voters casting a ballot in person must present an acceptable form of ID. Mississippi accepts ten forms of voter ID, including a driver’s license, as well as employee, student, and military photo identification cards.
