JPS has released a new book!

Mark your calendars... STEM Century: It Takes a Village to Raise a 21st Century Graduate: Jackson, MS Edition will be available on Friday, May 15, as a digital Kindle edition for a special launch price of $9.99 on Amazon. Also, the paperback will be made available Friday, May 22, for $12.99.

A book titled %22STEM CENTURY%22 with educational icons is in the foreground, set against a plain white background.

Artificial intelligence is changing the workforce faster than many school systems are changing instruction. Districts everywhere are asking the same questions: How do we prepare scholars for jobs that do not fully exist yet? How do we modernize learning without overwhelming teachers? How do we help scholars become critical thinkers instead of passive consumers of information?

STEM Century: Jackson, MS Edition captures what it looks like when one district takes those questions head on. JPS educators, leaders, parents, and community members share how Jackson Public Schools is rethinking STEM through real classrooms and real scholar experiences. The book highlights scholars building robots, exploring coding, solving engineering challenges, and connecting classroom learning to future careers.

More than a book about STEM programs, STEM Century: Jackson, MS Edition is about preparing scholars to think critically, solve problems, adapt to change, and thrive in a future shaped by AI and innovation.
