Pamela Moody, choir director at Jim Hill High School, has been selected as the 2025 Mississippi High School Music Educator of the Year by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) and the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA).

The NFHS and MHSAA honor exceptional performing arts educators who make a lasting impact on student performers across the state. As a state honoree, Ms. Moody will now advance for regional and national award consideration through the National Federation of High Schools.

Under Ms. Moody’s leadership, the Jim Hill High School Choir has earned numerous awards and received national recognition for excellence in performance and artistry.
