Jayme Anderson
Forest Hill High School, also known within the community as the University of South Jackson (USJ), is proud to celebrate senior Jayme Anderson for an exceptional academic and artistic achievement. Jayme has been accepted to more than 50 colleges and universities across the country and has received over $10 million in scholarship offers for his academic performance and musical talent.
A dedicated scholar and active member of the Pride of Forest Hill Band, Jayme has consistently demonstrated commitment in and out of the classroom. His scholarship offers include opportunities from institutions such as Stanford University, San Francisco State University, Penn State, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.
“This milestone not only showcases Jayme’s hard work and perseverance but also highlights the excellence we work to cultivate at USJ,” said Principal Torrey Hampton. “It reflects the results of our All-Hands-On-Deck approach—where every staff member plays a role in supporting scholar success.”
Jayme’s story is a powerful example of how talent, discipline, and a strong support system can create pathways to opportunity. Forest Hill High School congratulates him on this significant achievement and looks forward to seeing what he accomplishes next.
