At JPS, we know that feedback from parents/guardians, employees, and the community is the key to creating better learning experiences for our scholars. Your feedback directly shapes the changes we make. Here are just a few improvements we've made based on previous responses:
- Student Meals – You wanted more diverse, nutritious, and exciting meal options. Our Child Nutrition team upgraded high school menus to include chef-inspired meals. The first was a flavorful Asian stir-fry served to scholars at Provine High School.
- Survey Length – You said the survey was too long. So, we've condensed it.
- Technology – We've enhanced Wi-Fi access across the District to provide devices for remote work to improve connectivity for both staff and students.
- Safety – In response to your concerns, we implemented student ID badges for high school students and expanded or advanced entry scanner technology to middle school. This helps us detect dangerous items and keep our campuses safe.
- Salaries & Strategic Plan – We've also increased salaries for all JPS employees and launched a new Strategic Plan focused on joyful learning environments, organizational effectiveness, and academic excellence.
As you can see, your voice matters. Every improvement we’ve made has been driven by the valuable feedback we’ve received from you.
