Jackson Public Schools announced the valedictorians and salutatorians of the class of 2025 at its annual Salute to Scholars program held May 19, 2025. The valedictorians and salutatorians represent the top two scholars of each of the District's six high schools. Their selection is based on academic performance and other factors.
Besides the valedictorians and saluatorians, the Salute to Scholars program, afforded the District an opportunity to recognize and present awards to other high-academic achievers in our high schools, including the top ten scholars of the graduating class, 10 new ACT 30+ Club inductees, four MEC STAR students, and eight students who earned the Seal of Biliteracy.
Additionally, we are proud to report that the JPS Class of 2025 with a total of 1,359 graduates, exemplified academic excellence, collectively earning nearly $60 million ($59,533,853) in scholarship offers from institutions across the nation. Forest Hill High School led the district with $25,804,543 in scholarship offers, followed closely by Jim Hill High School with $25,029,310.
As the end of the school year approaches, we are proud to showcase and celebrate the hard-won achievements of these leaders of the Class of 2025. Congratulations and best wishes for a bright future.
