Course Instruction: Elements of Art, Principles of Design, and All Things Art.

Course Description: Visual Arts encourages creativity and self-expression through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Art helps students communicate ideas, emotions, and stories, while exploring new techniques and building fine motor skills. Through hands-on projects, students develop confidence in their abilities, learn about famous artists and their styles, and discover how art plays a role in every profession. Art represents personal expression and a way to understand and appreciate the world.
