    Principal, Marvin Davis

    Marvin Davis

    Mr. Marvin P. Davis, Instructional Leader of Galloway Elementary, comes to Tiger Land with an arsenal of experiences. He has worked in the field of education more than 20 years which included teaching grades 4, 5, and 7, assistant principal, librarian, and interim principal. Mr. Davis enjoys motivating others to learn and empowering them to maximize their potential abilities. As a team player, he is focused, inspired and eager to assist with any facet of student learning and teacher preparation.

    Having earned degrees in both elementary education and political science from Millsaps College, Mr. Davis has used them to earn notable recognition as one of Metro Jackson's Outstanding Teachers of the Year in 2000. Using his talent for public speaking, Mr. Davis was asked to serve as keynote speaker and presenter for the 2018 Tools for Life Conference held in Jackson, Mississippi, where he encouraged educators to recognize their inner strengths and tap into their inner superhero.

    Mr. Davis is a graduate of Jackson State University with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Supervision and has continued studies toward a specialist degree at Mississippi College. He has a passion for learning and instructional progress. He believes that team Galloway will build greatness together!

    Ifeoma McNeal Mrs. Ifeoma McNeal

    Mrs. Ifeoma McNeal is a dedicated educator who is passionate about the teaching and learning process and helping scholars succeed. She has more than a decade of experience serving within Jackson Public Schools in several instructional support capabilities. She began her teaching career in Jackson Public Schools as an instructional assistant in 2006. Since then, Mrs. McNeal has served children and families as a lead teacher, librarian/media specialist, school interventionist, special education teacher, and at the District level as a program learning specialist and a case manager. Mrs. McNeal believes in progress through continuous learning and the power of collaboration.

    Mrs. McNeal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Jackson State University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University.

    Mrs. McNeal is honored to join the Galloway Elementary School Team Tiger Land family and have the opportunity to serve students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders. She is committed to helping produce positive results and building greatness together.
