    Dr. Rachel Coleman

My name is Dr. Rachel Coleman, and I am thrilled to be serving the scholars, parents, and staff this year at Galloway Elementary. I am beginning my 23rd year in education. I have worn many educational hats, but my favorite was being a middle school math teacher. I have taught grades 1st-8th in Rankin County and JPS. I have been an administrator for 16 years.

I am a proud graduate of Mississippi State University and Jackson State University, obtaining 5 degrees. I have a doctorate in Educational Leadership.

I am married to the love of my life, Patrick, and together we have a blended family of 8! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, interior decorating/designing (HGTV is my favorite channel), and spending time with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to expanding my horizons and working with all the wonderful stakeholders at Galloway. Please feel free to contact me at rellis@jackson.k12.ms.us if you have any questions or concerns.
