Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I have been teaching at Provine High School since 2016 as an English II and Dual Credit English instructor. In addition to being an educator, I serve as one of the cheer coaches, a senior sponsor, and a tech team member. I am a proud graduate of Tougaloo College where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and a graduate of Jackson State University where I obtained my Master of Arts in English. I am currently pursuing my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership with the goal of becoming a school leader/principal. 

I am a wife and dog mom to two very active Siberian Huskies, Rocsi and Luna. While I do not have children of my own, my scholars are considered my children and I treat them as such. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, binge-watching K-dramas and horror shows/movies, and enjoying time with my loved from a safe distance.
