Forest Hill JROTC program was established in 1978 and is the 5th school in the JPS District to have established a leadership, mentoring and professional academic program. JROTC objectives are to develop students/cadets to become lifelong learners, community-minded citizens, patriotic self-discipline individuals and self-motivated positive contributors to society.
The vision of JROTC is providing a quality citizenship, character, and leadership development program while fostering partnerships with communities and educational institutions.

School Closure - Jan 16, 2024
Jackson Public Schools will remain closed on Tuesday January 16, 2024, due to a severe winter weather threat. There will be no virtual instruction. All sports and other scheduled District events are canceled.
This decision is based on anticipated ice accumulations and persistently freezing temperatures, possible power outages, along with the likelihood of hazardous travel conditions. We will closely monitor weather conditions to assess and notify you when it will be safe to resume our regular schedule.
