While Coronavirus remains an evolving public health concern, we will maintain this space to keep our public informed of the District's decisions related to maintaining the well-being of scholars, staff and our community. August 14, 2020 – After thoughtful and careful consideration for the overall well-being of our scholars and staff, the District will cancel sports and co-curricular activities in JPS due to COVID-19 concerns.
August 13, 2020 – JPS launches Nutrition On the Go for virtual learners in 2020-2021. Lunch and breakfast meals will be available at 13 schools and neighborhood bus stops.
August 7, 2020 – Students in all grades will begin virtual learning on Monday, August 17 in compliance with Gov. Tate Reeves Executive Order signed August 4.
August 3, 2020 – The online learning program for scholars will involve three major components including instructional supports for parents and teachers.
