Office of the Superintendent

  • About the Superintendent

Dr. Errick L. Greene's commitment to education spans more than 25 years. He has served in several states including the District of Columbia. His career started in the classroom teaching middle school and upper elementary students. Later, he became a principal, principal supervisor, chief of staff, and consultant to senior district leaders in Washington, D.C.; Detroit; Syracuse, New York; Baltimore; and Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Greene has served as the Chief of Schools of Tulsa Public Schools in Oklahoma. There, he led instructional leadership, family support services and district athletics. He and his team were charged with leading the district’s efforts to meet the needs of all students through excellent daily educational experiences in a culture of continuous improvement and achievement.

Demonstrating his commitment to life-long learning, Dr. Greene has earned several degrees: a doctoral degree in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania; two master’s degrees in Education — one from Trinity University and another from Howard University; and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Howard University.

Dr. Greene's love for education was inspired at an early age by his third-grade teacher, Mrs. Grandberry. She expected great things from her students and she made no secret of her love for and dedication to them. Mrs. Grandberry was a strong, dynamic, demanding and nurturing teacher. She partnered closely with Greene's parents and consistently held him to high standards. She was so deeply committed to his success that, due in part to her influence, he never second-guessed his ability to achieve great success.

Dr. Greene is a career educator whose work is fueled by the life-changing experiences that he had as a student, and by his unwavering commitment to providing the same quality experiences for all students.
