Overview

The Office of Data Management provides support in the use of PowerSchool and the Mississippi Student Information System (MSIS) for the users in the Jackson Public School District. PowerSchool allows schools to track almost every aspect of a student’s daily routine including enrollment, attendance, grading, and scheduling. The department monitors the accuracy of monthly student and personnel data for transmission to the Mississippi Department of Education in accordance with Accreditation Policy 2.1.
