    10th Grade Administrator

    Greetings,

I am excited to continue my journey at Forest Hill High School as the 10th grade administrator. This will be my fifth year at what is affectionately known as the “University of South Jackson”, and I am proud to have previously served as the Freshman Academy Principal. With 25 years of experience in education, I am dedicated to advocating for students and helping them achieve excellence.

I am a national board certified teacher and have earned my undergraduate and master's degrees from Jackson State University. I also hold an educational specialist degree from
Mississippi College and am currently pursuing my doctorate in curriculum instruction from the same institution.

I believe in empowering students and teachers to identify their strengths and overcome any obstacles that may stand in their way. With the support of our dedicated students, teachers, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders, I am committed to helping Forest Hill High School reach new levels of success and become a school of excellence.

I look forward to working with each of you to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all scholars can thrive. Together, we can make Forest Hill High School the best it can be.

    Sincerely,
    Patrease Edwards, NBCT
    Assistant Principal
