Mr. Dimitri Gayden MS, CPT, GFI


Mr. Gayden attended Mississippi State University and received his Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology and Master's in Exercise Physiology. 

Work Experience

Shorly after graduation in 2017, Mr. Gayden accepted a leadership role within the Sports Medicine Industry and served as the Injury Prevention Coordinator for Nissan North America in Canton, MS. During his time at Nissan, Mr. Gayden assisted the workers of Nissan by helping to prevent injuries on the manufacturing floor and provided treatment for those workers that had injuries and discomforts.

He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) from the accredited American Council of Exercise. He is also a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor from the American Heart Association. After 5 years of experience in the Sports Medicine workforce, Mr. Gayden decided to transition into a CTE Instructor. He wants to share the information he gathered from the workforce and college with the students of his class. This will be his 2nd year of being the Sports Medicine CTE Instructor.

Facts about the Instructor

Mr. Gayden enjoys outdoor activities of hunting, and fishing. He's very active when it comes to personal health and wellness including exercise and nutrition. He's a straightforward individual who has a passion with helping others through the use of education and by creating opportunities for those individuals to succeed.
