Top Reasons Teachers Are Choosing JPS
At JPS, we care deeply about our students and one another! So much so that developing relationships through mutual respect of culture, social context, and community is a JPS core value.
In a recent survey, JPS educators said that two of the biggest bright spots as a teacher in JPS are their supportive colleagues and leaders and their relationships with students and families.
In fact, 60% of teachers report that relationships with colleagues is one of the top 5 strengths for JPS as a place to teach.
Strong relationships lead to increased student impact: 61% of JPS teachers became a teacher primarily in order to have a positive impact on students.
What our teachers are saying:
“The biggest blessing is the life-long connections created between parents, scholars, and educators.”
“I have had the privilege to work alongside many inspiring colleagues who are dedicated to helping children.”
