Scholars completing this academy will have gained the knowledge base and physical preparation enabling them to apply for the state fire academy.

    Students enrolled the Academy of Health Services have the opportunity to engage with academy partners by participating in industry visits, job shadows and internships.  Other educational activities include field classes at UMMC, symposium workshops, and participation in HOSA conferences and competitions.  Scholars completing the academy will have earned CPR certification and have the opportunity to take national certification exams for EMT and CNA.

    Students enrolled the Academy of Scientific Innovation have the opportunity to engage with academy partners by participating in industry visits, job shadows and internships. Other educational activities include competitions at area and regional conferences in aviation or robotics, hands-on flight experience using drone technology and flight simulation software, and interdisciplinary lessons. Scholars completing the aviation pathway will have the opportunity to seek federal aviation administration Part 107 licensure enabling them to fly unmanned aerial systems professionally.

     Students enrolled the Academy of Natural Resource Utilization have the opportunity to engage with academy partners by participating in industry visits, job shadows and internships.  Other educational activities include competitions at area and regional conferences in agriscience and agriculture topics and skills, hands-on experience establishing, maintaining and harvesting a garden, creation of a product for market, interdisciplinary lessons and mentoring students on the elementary level in natural resource utilization. Scholars completing this academy will have earned college credit and funding by participating in the student 4H organization for 3 years.
