DUKE TIP SCHOLARS

Congratulations are extended to these 4th and 5th grade students for being identified by Duke University as academically talented youth. These students attained either a qualifying test score at or above the 95th percentile on a at least on accepted subtest area of a grade-level standardized achievement test, aptitude test, mental-ability test, or approved state criterion-referenced test. Some of these students also scored 125 or above on an IQ test that is no more than two years old. The Duke Tip Program is established to motivate, encourage, and support younger academically talented youth and their families in helping students to reach their full potential. These students will receive recognition, online resources, and challenging educational opportunities to help learning stay enjoyable through the elementary school years.
