COL Amber Davis, Cadet Battalion Commander at Lanier High School has been selected to receive the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross Award for Achievement. This is the highest award a JROTC cadet can earn and is presented annually to the top JROTC cadets across the nation who excels in academics, leadership and community service. More than 500,000 high school students are enrolled in JROTC across the nation.  However, only 26 Army, 14 Navy and 6 Marine JROTC cadets nationwide were approved for this award this year. Cadet Davis is highly qualified for this award as she is an outstanding example of a top scholar and leader within her school and community.

Congratulations Amber Davis!
