Purpose and Goals of the LHSNAA
 
Projects:
   
  Contributed $20,000 in Scholarship money to Lanier Seniors (see list below)
  Contributed $2,100 over the years to the Boys Basketball Team
  Contributed several computers to Lanier in conjunction with Packard Bell
  Participated in the opening of the Coach L.T. Smith Gymnasium
  Participated in the retirement program of Principals Hughes and Blackmon
  Participates in Lanier's Adopt-a-Class program
  LNSNAA is an adopter of Lanier
  Donated $600 to the Band Booster Club in 2008
  Participated with the Lanier Family Resource Center and other Community
Organizations to sponsor a Life Skills Seminar at JSU for Lanier Seniors - 2009
  Purchased male students' maroon tie set for Senior Class Night and Graduation
  Provided input to the committee on the selection of the new principal of Lanier
and the Superintendent of Jackson Public Schools
  Received grants from several corporations in the Jackson area to assist with
sponsoring scholarships for Lanier Seniors
  Contributed $500 to the Girls Basketball Team on their trip to Atlanta
  Lanier's All-Class Reunion and Christmas Celebration was held in 2008
  Initiated 2009 Membership Drive to get "1,000 Bulldogs Barking" by the end
of December ( 20 members per class will meet our minimum goal).
