History of Callaway:
Callaway High School was named after Robert M. Callaway, a former educator. Callaway High School was built in 1966 and currently enrolls students in grades nine through twelve.
Callaway High School is located at 601 Beasley Road, Jackson, Mississippi. The property is housed on approximately ten-acres in north Jackson. The present enrollment is 1,012 students, with 70 additional personnel such as teachers, counselors, and administrators.
The facility is divided into three wings identified as A/B Wing (upstairs and down) and the C Wing consisting of 73 classrooms. A separate field house is located between the practice baseball and football fields.
