Kindergarten - First Grade
Kindergarten and first grade students are required to read two (2) books. Kindergarten and first grade students will not be tested using the Accelerated Reader program nor will they be required to complete an anchor writing assignment.

Second - Fifth Grade
Students in grades two through five are required to read three (3) books from the summer reading list. All students should read the titles in bold print (tested via the Accelerated Reader program) and the title with the asterisk (*), which denotes the anchor writing selection. In addition, each student should choose one of the remaining books listed to complete his/her performance-based activity or project.
