A Message from the Principal
As the instructional leader of Bailey Magnet High School, I embrace the faculty and staff to seek and to serve the academic and social needs of students whose primary focus is to achieve and succeed in life. As the steward of the vision, I am committed to creating and maintaining a safe, orderly, trusting and caring environment where teaching is a mission and not just a job; where learning is a valued accomplishment, and where all aspects of the school's organization, curricular, and co-curricular activities are student-centered and designed to develop responsibility and accommodate individual learning styles so that all students who enter the doors of Bailey Magnet High School for Health Related Professions may experience academic success.
Bailey Magnet is a school where all children can be successful.
The small environment at Bailey makes for a family atmosphere
where children are not only taught the academic curriculum,
but how to interact with people and situations as well.
In other words, Bailey is a place that educates the whole child.
We enjoy active parent involvement, creative scheduling of classes,
extra assistance and help for students who need it, and enrichment
opportunities for those who are able to move at a faster pace
through the curriculum. The Health Related Professions
Program, a hallmark at Bailey, is the only one of its kind in
Mississippi. We are proud of our school and our knightly
heritage.
