PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Greetings to the Wilkins Wildcat Family,

As I complete my final year as president of Wilkins Elementary PTA, let me say thank you to everyone who paved the way for me. My experiences at Wilkins will be most memorable. I want each of you to know what we do, will do and have done for our children, will have an impact on their lives for years to come. I am delighted to begin my sixth year as a part of the Wildcat Family. I am very excited about the year ahead.

We all want better schools, let's not wait for it to happen - we help make it happen. Marian Wright Edelman once said, "If we don't stand up for children, then we don't stand for much." I challenge you to visit our school, attend parent conferences, volunteer, join PTA, and serve on the Site Based Council. We work shoulder to shoulder with Wilkins' faculty and staff. It takes all of us giving 100 percent to create the kind of school we want for our children.

Thank you for the time you give to PTA. I look forward to working with you this year. Working together, we can make great things happen for our children and school.
