Second year students at CDC were eager to get the Senior Career Portfolio on the way. As part of the JPS Career Portfolio requirement, students from the Business and Computer Technology Class presented hard copy portfolios as well as electronic portfolios in front of a panel of judges selected from the community.
Mrs. Katherine Anderson's Business and Computer Technology class got an opportunity to display their work by using a Blackboard tool used to house the Electronic Portfolio. Students were able to use this tool to store and also download the portfolios on DVDs to take with them in the pursuit of employment in the field of Business. |
In addition, students also emailed the portfolio to the panel of judges and community leaders to satisfy the mentoring piece of the class requirement. According to Mrs. Anderson, students did an excellent job on the presentation and was commended by the judges for all of their hard work.
