Bradley Elementary was highlighted as the WJTV School of the Day for Friday, March 2, 2012. The segment aired during WJTV's early morning weather segment at 5:28 and 6:28 a.m.
Bradley Elementary boasts of being "The School Where Everybody Is Somebody and Academic Excellence Is Our Ultimate Goal!" The school has earned a High Performing rating based on state accountability standards. Two hundred students are enrolled in grades three through five where Dionne Woody is the principal. Other programs at the school include Ask for More Arts, OrganWise health education, and the USDA's Garden of Hope.
Established in 1950, Bradley Elementary is named for Ollie Mae Hemphill Bradley (1872-1948.)
