 Owen Brown, an eighth grader enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program at Siwell, recently participated in a youth leadership conference in Washington, D.C., hosted by the People to People program. The goal of the conference was to bridge cultural and political borders through education and exchange, making the world a better place for future generations. During the conference, Owen met former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell.
