 Dr. Debra Mays-Jackson (second from left), principal of Forest Hill High School, was recently honored by the Mississippi Board of Education for being a 2012 Mississippi Administrator of the Year finalist. Mays-Jackson was the 2010-2011 Jackson Public Schools’ Administrator of the Year. Offering congratulations following her recognition at the January 20, 2012, meeting of the Mississippi Board of Education were (from left) Charles McClelland, chair of the Mississippi Board of Education; Mays-Jackson; Dr. Greta Terry, JPS assistant superintendent for high schools; and Dr. Tom Burnham, state superintendent of education.
