The Grants Office of Jackson Public Schools understands the importance of teachers, schools, parents, and community groups working together to provide the most advantageous educational programs and experiences to our students. This partnership also brings great advantages to the process of soliciting funds through grant proposals. While JPS and individual schools and teachers search for a wide variety of funding sources to enhance existing academic programs, we also encourage community-based organizations (CBOs), non-profit groups, and faith-based organizations (FBOs, e.g., churches, synagogues, and temples) to initiate grant proposals for after-school, tutoring, and other programs in partnership with and support of neighborhood JPS schools.
Potential grant writers can count on our support and assistance. While concentrating on opportunities that will support district-wide initiatives, the JPS Grants Office can provide services to anyone pursuing grants to support JPS students, schools, and academic enhancements.
