JPS Curriculum & InstructionCurriculum and Instruction

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction serves the needs of the teachers and administrators of the Jackson Public Schools by providing the services and support to enable schools to provide the best educational program possible for all children.

The primary function of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction is providing timely, effective support for teachers. To this end, lead teachers and content area specialists in all areas pre-K through 12 are assigned to schools, feeder patterns, and special programs throughout the District to provide support, resources, and professional development.

If you would like more information about the resources available from the content area specialists in the Office of Curriculum and Instruction, we can be reached by phone at 601-960-8302.
