School Board Meetings

Board members encourage public comment regarding what they consider to be their ultimate responsibility – the education and nurturing of the total child within the Jackson Public School District.

Procedures for public participation in board meetings are outlined in Policy BCG/KCA.

Board Meeting Schedule

The Board of Trustees holds two regular meetings per month. Student disciplinary hearings are reviewed as part of the first regular meeting of the month.

Agenda Items are due to the JPS Board secretary by 5 p.m. two (2) weeks prior to the Regular Board Meeting.
