About RSS
RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) is an XML file that enables delivery of web content to individuals who subscribe. To view or interact with the content, subscribers must use an RSS reader.
Currently, several reader options are available. Internet Explorer (versions 7 and higher) include a free reader organizer which can be displayed in Favorites Center bar. Google also has a popular reader. Google account holders can add this feed and others to their iGoogle home page.
The Jackson Public Schools RSS feed is located at www.jackson.k12.ms.us/rss/newsfeed.xml. To subscribe to the feed, simply copy and past this URL into the Subscribe box of your chosen RSS reader.
